Promotion Management

Promotion Management is a workspace for your Merchandise, marketing and design teams to manage all of your print and digital retail marking activities from initial brief through to final approval.

Retail Marketing Activity Set Up

Marketing kickstart the process by setting up the Marketing Activity. First they name the event, set key dates and add pages.

Template Allocation

Once the pages are added they set templates and assign the pages to Merch Categories (Small Appliances / Televisions / Fridges etc).

Product and Offer Allocation

Once the pages are added they set templates and assign the pages to Merch Categories and invite Merch to allocate Products to Spots onto the Templates.

Product and Offer Allocation

The Merch Team load their products from the PIM or via a spreadsheet upload. They then drag and drop products on to the spots building a Digital Mud Map.

What is a Mud Map?

One of the Key Features of the RetailPath Marketing Module is Mud Mapping. The term Mud Map is specific to Retail Marketing in Australia. A Mud Map allows the Buying Team to have a visual prior to briefing the Catalogue into Design. Typically Mud maps are created in Powerpoint, Word or Excel.

Quickview Review

Using RetailPath’s Quickview Feature, Merch review the product offers in a workshop using a flip book style. This visual preview allows them to refine their product selection and offers in realtime and allows them to respond to competitors and include new products. Briefing later also means less revisions to final approval - “Right first, then beautiful”

Studio Ready Brief

RetailPath outputs a Studio Ready Brief by delivering the Digital Mud Map in an InDesign Format with all images, fonts, pricing and copy already set.

Managed Approval Process

Once the Design Studio has polished the Studio Ready Brief it is uploaded to RetailPath for approval. Approvals are routed to the relevant Merchant Categories so that they can review their pages.

Markup Review Tools

Once the Design Studio has polished the Studio Ready Brief it is uploaded to RetailPath for approval. Approvals are routed to the relevant Merchant Categories so that they can review their pages.

Change Logs

All changes are presented in a structured Change Log Table that has been designed and refined over years of input from Studio User feedback. Changes are highlighted and where relevant new Assets, such as images, are provided.
